Dear HR seniors, please clarify when I can distribute the payslips: after salary or before salary. Please let me know.

We have a salary due for 3 months, and one of our employees is asking for the payslip for the last 3 months for chit fund security. Can I provide it or not? If there are any obligations for not paying salary and issuing payslip, please advise.

Regards,

Employees are due for 3 months? Well, regarding the payslip, it can be given anytime before or after. However, since you have not processed the 3 months' salary, your company's situation is different. Nevertheless, an employee may need a payslip for any purpose (such as applying for a loan or credit card), and the company HR preferably should not withhold the payslip.

Hope this information helps.
