Factors Contributing to Extended Trainee Periods
I would like to ask experts what causes the trainee's time period to be so long. I found some points:
• No effective training materials.
• Practical training required.
• Lack of a trainer.
Please add your views on them.

There are a couple of vital points you have missed. The first is the learning environment in the company. The second is the learning attitude of the individual, and the third is the grasping capacity of the learner.
Having a very good trainer is not sufficient. You also need to have that kind of learners.

I second Mr. Dinesh's sentiments and would like to share my views with you. Recently, I conducted training sessions for Nigerians and Indians on effective communication skills. The feedback I received from Nigerians was truly impressive when compared to that from Indians. The reasons for this positive feedback from Nigerians are as follows:
1) Their exposure to the English language and vocabulary is significantly higher compared to Indians.
2) They displayed a greater interest in learning new things and demonstrated a positive learning attitude.
3) Their capacity for grasping concepts is also notably high.
4) I found Nigerians to be individuals with a "down-to-earth" attitude who treat others with great respect.
5) They actively seek input for implementing what they have learned to enhance their performance.
To be honest, I did not provide them with any training materials as my past experience has shown that many participants do not utilize them effectively, hence avoiding unnecessary paper waste. Instead, I encouraged them to take note of relevant points that could greatly assist them in improving their communication skills.
With warm regards,
Regards
