Dear Seniors, I am in the retailing sector, and my company wishes to take on apprentices. My query is: do we need to obtain any apprentice certificates? If so, where and what are the parameters I have to look for?

Dear Raazz, there are two kinds of apprenticeship: one is company apprenticeship, and the other is Government Trade apprenticeship. You can place some fresh employees under company apprenticeship, but you have to get approval for Government Trade apprenticeship. The ITI authority will visit your factory, and they will allot a number of persons under Government apprenticeship.
