I am a trainer. Honestly speaking, it takes time to improve, as we have been talking in our mother tongue for years, and to change that takes time. Certain reasons for a high rate of speech are because we feel that we need to complete the sentence really fast and also the fact that you feel that the other person is in a hurry, because even I had the same issue. But gradually, I have worked on it. As you reduce your rate of speech, even your pronunciations would improve and be more crisp and clear. Are you familiar with phonetics? If you are, please confirm that to me. I can suggest you a book that would help you.
