I work for a company that doesn't provide a salary slip as a custom. I think the salary components are Basic, HRA, and LTA. I wanted to know if I can still submit medical expense slips for tax exemption purposes.
Thanks in advance.

I think medical reimbursement up to 15000/- p.a. is tax-exempt. If the employer is not reimbursing or there is no medical assistance in the pay, then the medical expenses cannot be claimed for tax exemption as it is not part of the earnings. However, medical expenses incurred abroad are tax-exempt up to 2.00 L.
