Hey Neha, don't be scared, dear. This email is just an advertisement and does not imply that you have applied for any position. You simply need to ignore it if you are not interested in any of the positions mentioned in the attached documents.

Hi,
Apart from not paying attention to these emails, it is my recommendation that an attempt be made to notify the concerned company about the circulation of such an email. By doing so, the company can put up a notice or a disclaimer on their website against such an email, which any seriously interested candidate will eventually read.

Hi All,
Please don't respond to such emails; they are all fake. A few days ago, we also used to receive such fake emails on behalf of the Videocon company name. My own brother was cheated by paying them, and we didn't receive any response from them after the payment was made. Therefore, please beware of such emails.
In such cases, respective companies should take severe actions on these types of issues.

Hi all,
If you feel that any email seems suspicious, open that email and click on the "Show Original" or "Show Full Header" tabs.
In that document, search for "Originating-IP" where you will find a digit string like "[123.123.123.123]." This string represents the physical address of the computer from which the email was sent.
Next, go to the Google website and search for "ip2location." Enter the digit string in the provided IP Address space and click "Find Location."
You will then receive information about the computer's physical address, such as the country's name, region, and city. This service is free to use anytime.
By using the physical address, you can verify the authenticity of such emails.

These types of emails are fake. No company asks for money for job applications or attending interviews. Similar emails are also being distributed on behalf of Maruti. You may receive emails from foreign companies as well.
Ignore all such emails and inform all your friends too.

Please try to avoid this type of email because sometimes you may receive fake emails claiming to be from HCL & VIDEOCON companies. Usually, they request some amount of money, so it is best to simply delete such emails.
Thank you.

Dear Neha,
Even I received such fake emails from Maruti and L&T companies informing me about my selection and interview in New Delhi. They requested that I deposit some thousands towards an air ticket, which would be reimbursed upon my final selection. They promised a package exceeding my expectations, along with perks, company accommodation, and more. However, I had never applied for any positions at these companies.
I believe this is a scheme to extort money from individuals, as they provide account numbers for depositing the amount, which belong to SBI or ICICI banks.

Many people who are seriously looking for a job send money to the given address and never get it back. Before many such job aspirants get duped, this matter should be reported to the police, and the culprit should be fined heavily. Also, it should be determined how many people have fallen for this trap, and their money should be returned by the culprit.
