I am in very big trouble. Please help me out. I am a fresher in engineering who got placed in one of India's top companies. My joining is after 2 months. The company is asking for my passport for criminal background checks on the date of joining. The problem is my sister-in-law (bhabhi) has recently filed a case against my whole family, which includes my name. I didn't do anything. When I was going through the recruitment process, this case wasn't filed, and I didn't know about it.
Please tell me, is there any consideration in the case of family disputes like this? I don't want to lose this opportunity; it's my dream to be in this company.
