ESIC Card Updates and Procedures
It's quite surprising that even after the online ESIC activities, queries are still coming regarding ESIC cards. Now, the card system (Pehchan cards) has been dispensed. Nowadays, you have to update your and your family's Aadhar card particulars, which are to be updated by your HR. Instantly, you can get an E-Pehchan card (previously called the Temporary Identity Card (TIC)), which will be treated as your permanent card if it has the Aadhar particulars.
Kindly obtain your card by approaching your employer. Don't forget to paste your family photo on the backside of it and have it attested by the employer. Another advantage of the recent developments is that now you can choose another dispensary for your family members as well.
