Dear seniors,

I would like to understand the difference between "statutory" and "liaisoning."

1. What tasks fall under statutory responsibilities?
2. What responsibilities are typically associated with liaisoning?
3. Could you please provide the correct spelling for "liaisoning"?

Your assistance in clarifying these points would be greatly appreciated.

With regards,
Prasad

Dear Colleague,

"Statutory" means legal, covered by law, or covered by the provisions of the law.

"Liaison" means establishing rapport with the authorities with whom you want to get your work done. It may be a government or non-government authority, or a customer, supplier, or vendor. The correct spelling is "liaison," and the meaning is cooperation between people or organizations on a matter of common concern.

Thank you.

There is no word called "liaisoning," but the correct pronunciation is "liaison."

Liaison means maintaining connections with the government for registration and filing returns for various licenses and certificates. For example, in a sugar factory, it needs a weighbridge license, manufacturing license, factory license, co-gen license, distillery license, sulfur license, packing license, etc.

Under statutory compliance, EPF and ESI are required.

I hope the above will clarify your doubts.

Regards,
Sarfaraz
