Hello Friend,

To my knowledge, there is no connection between PAN and PF Numbers. PAN number is issued by the Income Tax department. P.F Number is allotted by the company to its employees. A person should not have multiple PAN Numbers; according to the law, it is an offense. As far as PF Numbers are concerned, a person can have multiple PF numbers. When moving from one company to another for personal growth, they will get a new PF account in each company. Once they leave the company, they can only use this number for the purpose of transfer or withdrawal.

Thank you.
