After how many years can you withdraw your provident fund after resigning from a company? Is there a time frame within which you have to apply to withdraw your provident fund, or can you claim it even 3 or 4 years after leaving the company?

We don't have any time limit to withdraw the PF. Most of the time, organizations do not provide you with the PF clearance form. You just need to get the stamped PF withdrawal form from the company, and the amount will be credited into your account.

Hi Benjamin,
You can withdraw your PF after a certain number of years, and you have to submit the PF clearance form from your last company. However, remember one thing: withdraw your PF amount only after the completion of 5 years from the resignation from that particular company, as the Government deducts 30% as tax if you withdraw it before 5 years.
