Full and Final Settlement
Hi, I worked for three years for a pharma company as a marketing executive in sales. I resigned in March 2009 for higher studies. I have not yet received my full and final settlement, including my two months' salary and incentives for 2008. I received a letter mentioning that I have outstanding amounts due to the company, or else action will be taken against me. I replied by email demanding my salary and incentives. For the past three months, I have been emailing both HR and my boss, who say they are waiting for my boss's reply. However, my boss does not bother to respond to my emails.
My questions are: How should I proceed? Is it too late to ask for my full and final settlement? According to the Karnataka Labour Law, what can I do about the delay?
Please help.
