Dear All,

Greetings! I am an HR Executive of the company, the heart and soul of it. I hold an MBA in HR with 1 year of experience. My CEO has tasked me with developing a company car policy. I have already presented my proposal to him, but he seems to be in a different state of mind. Therefore, I kindly request you to provide me with the locally prevailing car policies for comparison.

I would be very thankful.

Hi Iqbal,

Before drafting the Car Policy, decide to which category employees are entitled for the Company to provide car facility. Then, fix the ceiling (cost) for different levels and the fuel consumptions per month. After a certain period (e.g., 5 yrs), the car can be physically handed over to the employee, by giving an option to purchase the car at its written down value. Please sit with your CEO and proceed further.

Thank you for the advice. The problem is the CEO is an engineer and busy with projects and monetary concerns. I have a plan to provide him with different options, and I will also seek further advice. Thanks again.
