Dear All,
I need your advice and/or information on the standard industry practice for issuing experience certificates to outsourced manpower. Should the outsourcing company mention that XYZ was working on our roles for ABC company, or is it sufficient to state that XYZ was working with us from... till...?
Can the outsourced employee request the outsourcing agency to issue the experience certificate with the company name for which they were actually working?
Please advise.

Hi Anil,
Thank you for the prompt reply. The experience certificate will be provided only on the outsourced employer's letterhead. However, my question still remains unanswered. Let's consider this scenario:
Say Tarun worked as Manager of Operations for HP but was on the roles of TeamSource. What should be stated on his experience certificate? Should it mention that Tarun worked on the roles of TeamSource for HP as Manager of Operations?
Should the experience certificate be on TeamSource's letterhead but include a reference to the company (HP) he worked for?
Please advise.

Dear Megha,
Usually, it is the practice in our company that the experience letter will be issued by the company where the employee is deputed. The letter clearly states that Mr. A has been working as [position] from [start date] to [end date], and below are the projects handled by him.
The relieving letter will be issued by the outsourced manpower agency.
Thank you.

I am working in Cadbury Items Agencies as a System Supporter in the Billing Section. I studied MSc (IT). Therefore, I have received a foreign opportunity. I need an Experience Letter for this purpose. Please provide it at your earliest convenience. This is my email: mnibrahim22@gmail.com.
