Hi all,
The employment clause in my organization states that unconfirmed employees should give 1 month's notice or salary, and confirmed employees should give 2 months' notice or salary. Could you please inform me if there is any specific law regarding the ideal notice period?
Regards,

Dear Gunjan,
There is no specific law regarding the notice period, but you must follow the certified standing orders of the company. If certified standing orders are not in place, then follow the clauses of the standing orders. The notice period can vary from 1 to 3 months from both sides in different companies.
Thanks,
