I was checking out [http://www.hatefiring.com](http://www.hatefiring.com) (lured in by their funny, irreverent office ads) and considering using online pre-employment assessments to evaluate new hires. Has anyone had any positive or negative experiences with pre-employment assessments, personality tests, or evaluations?

They are quite effective. They have been here for a long time, and only the mode of analysis has changed. Things also depend on the kind of potential employee you are hiring and at what level. Parameters of selection and traits are of utmost importance. These tests cannot be applied to all. I mean, there is no common test for all kinds of positions.
