Please make yourself a draft Agreement with the following points
(i) Timing of Canteen
(ii) Food to be supplied and its rate, quality, quantity
(iii) Rate list must be approved by your management by the canteen people and it should be displayed in the canteen
(iv) Quality of food, - Any deviation in quality or in quantity, mention about the disciplinary action to be taken against the canteen authorities.
(v) Medical Test of Food Handlers, their uniform, salary regarding.
(vi) Cleanliness and Hygenic condition standards to be maintained and action to be taken against the default.
(vii) Charges for Electricity, Water and rent for the place, if any, also to be mentioned in the agreement. (If you are in construction industries, you cannot charge for any of the above)
(viii) Please never forget about the subsidy your company can provide to the canteen, which will have the inpact on the price and quality of food being served to the employees.
Considering the above points you can make your own agreement and get it approved by the management and take the signature of the canteen authority as he has read and understood the agreement and strictly abide to the said points in the agreement.
