I want to send my resume to some MNC and big companies where I dream to work, but those companies has not given any advertisement in job portal or newspaper right now. And I visited their website and also called them to inquire whether they have vacancy or not, but they say that at present there is no vacancy but I should send resume with application and they will hold it and in future if they have they will consider my resume and application.....
Usually I write a covor letter to jobs with advertisement and there I start with "With reference to your advertisement in xyz portal, I hereby apply for the given post.......... etc. etc.
But here neither there is opening nor there is advertisement, so in which format I should write a covor letter which creates best impression.
Also please note that I am unsure about positions and also do not know which positions the company has, I would like to work at position suitable to my background or any mid-level positions like administration/operations executive, customer support, coordinator etc.
But how exactly to write in correct format using polite & good words, pls can someone provide me format.
Thanks

Hi
At the outset let me compliment you on your enthusiasm, self belief and determination to make things happen by your proactive initiatives. Whilst these qualities would definitely stand you in good stead in the long run, these have to supplemented by some practical and pragmatic steps that you need to take to get the right opening.
To begin with, you need to get your spelling of the word 'Covering Letter' right. The next of course is to find answers to the numerous variables that you have mentioned in your last but one paragraph particularly the suitable job opening position that would suit your academic and personal background. To do this you will have to do a personal SWOT analysis and then outline the job functions that you are confident match your profile.
Once you have narrowed down on the job profiles and the companies that seriously interest you, use your network of contacts to atleast get an idea of the process of recruitment in these companies, their bare minimum requirements and if there are immediate or impending vacancies/ openings. Only if there is a theoretical possibility does it make sense for you to draft the appropriate covering letter and attempt to push matters. Ofcourse by sending letters at random, there always exists the possibility of getting a lucky break, but the chances are so remote that you may end up being extremely frustrated that you efforts are not bearing any fruit.
For your reference I am attaching a draft covering letter which you would have to suitably modify to meet your specific requirements. I would also suggest that you get your final letter and resume proofread and polished up by a third party preferably someone fluent in English.

Dear sir (ACT)
Thank you very much for all your suggestions and motivating words. I appreciate it a lot. Thanks for the attachment. It will surely help me.
I need one more help and for that I also posted separate threads but didn't received any response. How can I get the list of MNC and big companies in Ahmedabad? Right now I want to start with any opportunity I get that give me good experience and help me enhance my skills. But I prefer that rather than working with small organisation, I get opportunity to work with any big company, for eg: Cognizant. I am ready to work at mid-level or as customer support but want to work with big organisation, so that I get the opportunity to work in good work culture. For that matter I want to know if there are some good MNC in my city
