"Line of fire" is a common terminology, where a workmen is exposed to hazardous situation of some thing may fall on his body or head. Workmen standing in a loading and unloading area under the crane load, is said to be " the workmen is in line of fire". Any fire / welding sparks falling on the workmen body while working is said the same. A man standing in a middle of traffic is said to be same. Worker standing on a construction site where no cover net is provided, he is said to be same. worker standing in front of place where chemical splash could have / could not happen, if he not wearing a protective body cover, and face mask, then he is said to be same.

Hi Hansa,
Great to see your post after a long time here.
You can use this NAPO film (https://www.napofilm.net/en/napos-fi...s/introduction) as an example of Line of Fire.
The part showing in which the person is under the suspended load.
