I have heard that employer share is equal to the employee share and hence at the time of withdrawal, i\'ll get double the amount of employee share. But when i received a sms from EPFO website it says that EE is 44000 and ER is 18000. How is this possible? Why is ER so lesser than EE. and How much I\'ll get when I\'ll request for withdrawal now?
Please someone clarify on this.

Dear Mr. Rohit ,
This is quite a genuine question . The ER share of 12% is divided into two parts that is 3.67% to EPF & 8.33% to EPS . The amount that is shown to your is your employers contribution towards EPF , the rest that is 8.33% is contributed towards your Pension . which is not calculated by epf when you check it online,.
