i want to know the types of activities involved in employee engagement please provide me a list of activities so that i can apply in my orgganisation

The only activities with a long term positive influence on employee engagement is when management listens to their concerns and responds to those concerns to the satisfaction or better of the employee.

Dear Suman,
keep it simple
have a board where you put poem ,painting of kids of employee
best employee of the week
painting competition on theme every month
training on various safety security hr field every month
celebration of 26th Jan, 15th aug, environment day, safety day, etc.
slogan competition
out door training every year for all employees
sports activity in org with yearly competition within groups, dept, houses etc.
cultural pgme on regular basis
foundation day of org
many more just do it with small activity.

Some really useful info by Capt. Trajeshwar Singh. Days like 26 Jan, 15 Aug, Diwali...etc give us an opportunity to break the monotony and engage employees in the meaningful way. Besides, companies can think of innovative ideas to bring in the fun element...for example they could easily do tug of war among departments or invite a celebrity to talk to the employees. There are tons of ways but all you need is budget and right intentions :)

you can do activities like birthday celebration , company day , sports day , family day , magazines / newsletter, quiz, games etc to bring people together . Try to keep them cross functional.
You can also do skip level meeting ask each employee about their concerns prepare minutes and then try to resole these problems .
Real engagement comes when there is transparency and employees feel they are valued , their appraisals are fair and they are listened. They get career progression .
