Dear Friends,
I would like to share that my company doesn't have any fixed ratio of components of salary structure. The presently used components are Basic, HRA, Other Allowance and Conveyance. The % of the components are quite arbitrarily chosen.
If I want to streamline the structure of salary keeping the no. of components unchanged how will I do it- I mean to say what should be the % of the above said components on gross salary.
Kindly help me out as it is urgently needed.

Dear All,
I am working as HR in a Power Sector in Hyderabad. My management told me to prepare the Salary with only two components, viz., Basic+DA (50%) and Other Allowance. Is it correct. What are the Basic & DA Percentage out of 50%. DA will be calculated on Basic salary.
Secondly, Special Allowance can be more than Basic Salary?
Please clarify me these two.

All HR people there... I need hel. A company has offered me a job where, the 80 % part of the salary is mentioned to be
the variable pay. only 20 % is fixed pay. The 80% variable pay is absolutely based on ratings of my seniors. Also there is an agreement of 12 months. How fare is this.? Is this the correct system to pay salary as variable amount upto the extent of 80%?
Please me choose if to join this company or not.?
