Hi All,
We were thinking of declaring Holiday on 2nd Sep and make another Saturday working day. This way employees can get a 5 day weekend.
please let me know if any of you have planning the same for your company.

Hello Neethu,
Can you please explain us clearly why you want to declare a holiday on September 2nd? If you think that the employees can enjoy the holidays consecutively ( as September 1st will be a holiday for the Ganesh chaturthi ) from September 1st to September 4th you can declare after discussing with your managers , PM, etc.
Based on your work schedules you can declare the same. Because of this, the employees will be very happy, and you can tell them that to compensate a working day on September 2nd - day will be a regular working day .
I would suggest you to discuss with your company persons about the same.

Hi,
We have 31st Aug and 1st Sep as listed holiday. And if we give 2nd as well employees can have 5 day holiday.
I was just checking if some other company as well is planning something similar

Hi Neethu, It may nice to see long leave, but if you have plant, need to think on this as there is always people seek on this to have long holidays, as always it will be constraints. Regards
