Hi guys,

A very good morning to everyone on the forum. Well, I have a doubt. Could anyone shed some light on the question that I have to ask?

Why do watches always depict the time as 10:10 in all the ads they show?

Please answer this question for me.

Thanks,
Rads

To my knowledge it is the time when Mr. Kennedy was shot dead. that is the reason all the watch manufacturers kept the time in the watch as 10:10. Regards Anu

CHR has given a good reason, but the actual thing is the time 10:10 brings out the correct sign (tick mark) and it's a sign of a smile. The customer will always remain happy. I know this as my dad works for HMT (HINDUSTAN MACHINE TOOLS), which is a watchmaking company.

Hi guys, I was really thinking about the time Mr. John Kennedy was shot - the time displayed in ads. Since then, it has been for remembrance.

From now on, let me assume it in Vishal's way. I think that would be the most reliable source because it comes from the biggest watch manufacturer in India and the world's only maker of winding watches (presently). Even my friend is a pro at HMT. :D :D :D
