Nowadays, I have majorly seen the variable component (incentives) prevailing in the BPO industry. Other industries could be implementing it, but to a very nominal extent and for specific jobs. In BPOs, it is primarily at the advisor or agent level, where 30-40% is earned as a variable based on the parameters set in different projects such as collections, sales, tech support, etc.
