You need to submit the information to the Inspector of Factories via Form No. 2-A and not 3-A, as my friend mentioned earlier. This is prescribed under Rule 12 of the Factories Act.
FORM NO. 2-A
Prescribed under Rule -12
Notice of Change of Manager / Occupier
This form must be sent to the Inspector of Factories within 7 days of the change:
1. Full Name and Address of the Factory:
2. License Number:
3. Full Postal Address for Communications relating to the Factory:
4. Whether the change relates to Manager / Occupier:
5. Name of the outgoing Manager / Occupier:
6. Full Name and residential address of the new Manager / Occupier:
7. Date of appointment of the new Manager / Occupier.
Date: Signature of Manager Signature of Occupier
In case of any changes in the Partners or Directors, a list of names of the Directors/partners with their residential addresses should be attached to this notice.
