Hello,
I just want to know how to ask for an appraisal from my boss. I have been working for 7 months now. It was mentioned that the probation period would end after 6 months, and there would be an increment. I asked my boss about this, but I have not received a reply. Please help me as this is urgent and serious.
Waiting for your reply.

Hi HR Shah,
"Increment after the completion of the probation period," whether this was communicated to you through verbal means or through any document like an offer letter or otherwise defined in your company's HR policy?
If it is a verbal communication, then you may be at a disadvantage.

Hi Rashmi,
Yes, I too agree that it's purely a management's decision. But if the same is on paper, then we can approach legally. I have done it in my earlier company and succeeded as well. I don't say that it is always possible to approach legally and succeed.

Hi,
For getting the desired increment, kindly communicate the same in writing with your higher authority about the same. Show them the development and your achievements during your work period. Also, mention the discussions at the time of joining regarding the increment after six months and with whom.
