Hi,
I worked for 2.5 years in my earlier company in Mumbai, and my PF was deducted on a monthly basis. After I left, I submitted all the PF documents, but there was no information from the company.
When I inquired, I came to know from a trusted source that the company only deducted but never deposited the same to the PF department. Also, I found out that the company's PF number is from Bangalore. Therefore, I was informed that any complaint to the PF should be directed to the PF office in Bangalore. I have all the salary slips where my PF number and PF deductions are clearly mentioned.
Please guide if possible.

Firstly, you should inform your previous company regarding the same. If you receive a positive response, then that's okay. Otherwise, send a written complaint through a registered post to the PF department. I would suggest you wait for a senior response. Keep your records with you that show PF deductions from your salary.
