Hello Suman,

My research topic is Work-Life Balance in Medical Professionals, and I have gone through your questionnaire. It is of great help to me. I am in my very initial stage. Is this your research topic, or is it a specific project that you have done? Is your project report available? Can you mail it to me at srilekha_goveas@yahoo.com? I would be very obliged. By the way, where are you from? I am a lecturer in Muscat.

Thanks,
Srilekha

Please do not request finished projects or questionnaires on this forum without giving enough information. Instead of asking for a completed project, please search CiteHr where some projects are attached. Then do a literature survey and formulate your aim and objectives for the research (in consultation with the host organization). You also need a conceptual framework for that. Decide what hypotheses you want to test. If you have not done any of the above essential preparations for conducting a project, I would advise you to please do so and then pose a precise question.

Please see my post on Research Methodology (Ppt slides attached) at https://www.citehr.com/106849-research-projects.html and Author Workshops at <link outdated-removed> and my post at <link no longer exists - removed>. I am not sure if you have read any literature on questionnaire design. If not, go to questionnaire design + guidelines - Google Search= Also see <link outdated-removed> where an MBA project is attached as an example. A Post by Prodcons also has information on Research Methodology. Please also see the post by naveeis4u at https://www.citehr.com/179861-employ...ion-level.html to see the type of background information that will be of help in designing questionnaires. Also view and digest the message that ahujamamamia posted at citehr https://www.citehr.com/169377-marble-story.html. Try to become the marble statue rather than the tile. Please read the post by Sayansayu at questionnaire or welfare measures - reg.

Dear Octopus,

In the present scenario, the retirement age of individuals is 60 years. However, due to improved medical conditions, people are considering and fit to work later than 60 years, and our political entities are the best example of it.

It came to my mind, how can we improve and inculcate a change management in older employees to perform like young people with maturity in them. Furthermore, to dispel from their minds that they are deadwood and on the verge of retirement and need not learn new things.

Consider this as one unique topic for your thesis.

Please do not send project reports without removing details of where you did, etc. Also, I would advise people to send only some extracts and not the whole. Simhan A retired academic in UK

I look forward to your response.

Dear Ram Mohan and Kumar Sourav,

Maybe you have not read all the posts in this thread. I am reproducing my comments as a reminder.

Please do not request finished projects or questionnaires on this forum without providing enough information.

Instead of asking for a completed project, please search CiteHR where some projects are attached. Then, conduct a literature survey and formulate your aim and objectives for the research (in consultation with the host organization). You also need a conceptual framework for that. Decide on the hypotheses you want to test.

If you have not completed the essential preparation for conducting a project as mentioned above, I would advise you to do so before posing a precise question.

Please refer to my posts on Research Methodology (PPT slides attached) under research projects and Author Workshops at Publishing in International journals, and my post at "Need Urgent Help for My MBA Final Year Project (HR)."

I am unsure if you have read any literature on questionnaire design. If not, search for "questionnaire design + guidelines" on Google. Also, refer to MBA Project/Dissertation where an MBA project is attached as an example.

A post by Prodcons also provides information on Research Methodology. Additionally, refer to the post by naveeis4u on Employees' Satisfaction Level to understand the type of background information that will help in designing questionnaires.

Take a look at the message that ahujamamamia posted at CiteHR Marble Story. Try to embody the marble statue rather than the tile.

Dear All,

I'm really new to this site. Thanks to the Admins who created this site as it's really helpful for me to gather most of the information regarding my thesis on "A Study into the Work-Life Balance of XYZ Company."

Actually, I really need some help in creating the conceptual framework and identifying independent and dependent variables for this research. So far, I have thought of taking employee satisfaction with their work-life balance as the independent variable and the achievement of organizational objectives as the dependent variable.

Can someone please give me some advice to polish up this concept and how I can use quantitative methods regarding this?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Dear Prabodini,

What course are you doing? Have you done any literature survey before undertaking your research/study? Have you searched the web for the info you are seeking from us?

I am sorry for asking questions rather than giving you answers "on a plate." I have found over 350,000 hits when searching, and one of them is a 103-page report, which clearly explains the selection criteria for dependent and independent variables. I hope you can find the same. If you can't, then please drop me a private message.

Have a nice day.

Simhan

Dear Simhan,

I tried to find that article but I'm unable to locate it. Could you please send me the link directing me to it? I'm really stuck in the middle and need to find a solution soon as time is running out.

Thank you for trying to help me out; your assistance is greatly appreciated.
