Lunch with God-
A little boy wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with Twinkies and a six-pack of root beer and he started his journey. When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old woman. She was sitting in the park just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he noticed that the old lady looked hungry, so he offered her a Twinkie. She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him. Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered her a root beer. Again, she smiled at him. The boy was delighted! They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word. As it grew dark, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave, but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old woman, and gave her a hug. She gave him her biggest smile ever.
When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, "What did you do today that made you look so happy?" He replied, "I had lunch with God." But before his mother could respond, he added, "You know what? She's got the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!"
Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home. Her son was stunned by the look of peace on her face and asked, "Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy?" She replied, "I ate Twinkies in the park with God." However, before her son responded, she added, "You know, he's much younger than I expected." Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. Remember, we don't know what God will look like. People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. Embrace all equally!
So open ur eyes n hearts....donot know when and where u'll meet the Divine......
Good day!

Nice story. Actually, you are right. We don't give attention to the people who come to us for help and who help us. God comes to you, but you don't recognize Him and neglect them if he/she is poor.

Dear All,
This story is really sweet and sheds light on how we can connect with our own divine part. GOD is nowhere but is present in each of us; his presence is deep inside, and he is hesitant to reveal himself willingly. He is afraid to be tainted by the impurities of the world. It is challenging to find a space free from any trace of impurity. Does this mean the presence of impurity is as potent as the presence of GOD? It is true that impurity is bold, with its presence only on the surface, appearing strong and vibrant. On the other hand, our divine part (GOD) is even stronger, but its presence lies deep within us.
Through this story, we can learn to uncover our connection to GOD and lead a more divine life. By adopting a rational approach and seeking our own GOD, we can initiate a movement to rid ourselves of this impurity.

Hi all,
Remarkable! Really very short but meaningful. Sometimes we don't understand the meaning of life and the people who are close to us. If we see everybody with an open heart, we come to know about the reality of life.
Thanks, Dan, for such a nice story and sharing it with us.

Hello Dan,
Thanks, dear, for contributing such a simple but exotic story. It touched me deeply. The message conveyed through this story is very clear that at times we keep on looking for direction but do not introspect within ourselves.
Someone has said very rightly that "Small things always make a Big Difference."
By contributing such a story, you made my day, as I was feeling very tired today. But after reading this story, I really felt like I was the boy in the story who hugged that old lady.

Thank you, Dan, for the wonderful story. It was really good to begin my work on a Monday morning after reading your story. Most of us just ignore what is easily available and try to reach the stars without even knowing the stars are right next to us. I will be looking for more such stories.
