Is the Employee Handbook similar to that of Standing Orders because many contents or matters involved seem to be similar? Does the purpose of the Employee Handbook serve the same function? Is it only prepared in the absence of Standing Orders? To which companies is it suggested? Please clear the doubt.

However, an employee handbook is a more detailed and vast document. It also consists of all types of forms, processes, and procedures to be followed in the organization. Standing Orders talk about the "minimum information" that you need to share. The "Employee Handbook" is in detail. Though the format of most "Employee Handbooks" remains the same, the content can be different based on the philosophy of the Company and the Industry in which they are operating.
