Hello, I am working with an IT company and am expected to establish the HR department. Initially, there was a rush of tasks to do, and I failed to understand what I should prioritize. After giving some attention to the matter and discussing with the top management, I concluded that I should start by developing HR forms and formats.

Therefore, I would like to request a list of those forms commonly used in HR professions. Can anyone please provide me with these forms or at least a list of them? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
M. Hasan

Dear Mr. Hasan,

Hello!

I also started out with formulating the HR department in my organization, and it has been a short 3 months down the lane. I can tell you what we are doing in our organization. We began with restructuring the requisite forms and formats. A list of those forms is:

- Offer Letter
- Appointment Letter
- Confirmation Letter (to employees once their service is confirmed)
- Relieving Letter & Experience Letter to employees leaving the organization, etc.

You can find several copies of these templates online (e.g., You can search on Google for an appointment letter template) and you will find several copies that you can adapt according to your needs.

Then you can streamline things beginning with manpower planning and recruitments.

After this, you can touch upon training. This area includes Induction Training for new recruits. You can create a presentation giving a brief overview of your organization, its core business areas, culture, etc., to provide a clear idea to new recruits about your organization.

You can then move on to organizing training for existing employees to enhance their skills. For this, you will need to conduct a training needs analysis. After identifying the areas in which training is required, you can design a training program to meet the employees' needs. You can maintain records to analyze the improvement in the efficiency of the employees.

Performance Appraisal, Career Planning, etc., are some other areas you could work on.

To start with, these are a few pointers. You can begin with these initially and then move on to other areas at a later stage.

BEST OF LUCK FOR YOUR ASSIGNMENT.

Regards,

Vinita

Hi,

Thanks to (Cite Contribution) and Vinita for your interest and support. I am responsible for designing all HR forms and formats, compiling them into a booklet for implementation. Firstly, I am creating all the necessary forms. Upon completion, we will proceed with the implementation phase.

I have attached a file listing the forms and formats I have identified so far. There may be some missing elements, so your valuable input would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you and regards,
M. Hasan
