Hi all,

I left my previous company in August 2008. They gave me the experience and relieving letter in September 2008 and mentioned that my money settlement would be done in some time. However, my last month's salary is still pending. I have sent them multiple emails, but they seem unwilling to release the money. What steps can I take in this situation? Please advise me.

Hi, may I please know which company you were working for?

Ideally, they should not withhold your salary and should definitely have made the F&F settlements by now. If they have not done so yet, please make sure to email them about it while keeping someone from the higher management in the loop. This way, if they are not aware of the situation, it should be brought to their attention with your case.

Dear Golu,

You must send a formal request letter to your HR Manager with a copy marked to the Head of the Organization. This letter must be sent through Registered post with A.D. The acknowledgement thus received by you must be kept as proof for future use.

Hello,

I feel this is taking longer than expected for the F & F more than 6 months for F & F even after considering the recession. It is a long, long time. (Hope you have left the company in good faith and completed the valid notice period and proper handover was done from your side.)

I hope you have already sent emails to HR, your reporting managers, heads till now. Don't just email HR; keep everyone in the loop so that everyone is aware of the same and the news spreads across the organization.

Mention in the email that you are looking at serious legal action and mention it that you have copied this email to your legal advisor. If this does not work, really recommend you to go for some serious legal action against the company.

I left my organization almost 1.5 years ago, but the Full and Final (F&F) settlement has not been completed yet. I have sent numerous emails and even tried reaching out on office mobile numbers, but there has been no response from their side. Now, I want to serve them a notice.
