Hi guys,

Our organization just entered into centenary celebration. We are planning to have a celebration of our 100th anniversary differently in many ways. We want to make it memorable to all our stakeholders. Can you guys give me some ideas which will make it really different and creative? After all, we HR guys make a difference, right? :)

If your organization has not provided any performance benefits and motivational incentives, this is the right time to do so. However, it is essential to allocate a significant budget to ensure that your centenary celebrations are enjoyable and successful.

Allow me to offer some suggestions:

1. Organize physical games for employees.
2. Arrange management games for entertainment.
3. Evaluate the projects completed by different employees and award them with prizes.
4. Implement a fair performance evaluation system and reward employees with tokens of appreciation as part of the centenary celebrations.
5. Request employees to share their memorable moments at the organization. Compile these stories into a booklet for everyone to enjoy.
6. Engage the IT Department by encouraging their active participation and developing online web applications for the intranet.

Many thanks for your response. We have a Balanced Scorecard in place, and it's functioning very effectively. Your idea of reviewing the projects completed by various employees who have contributed to our success and giving gifts to our key people as a token of their service sounds really interesting.

Additionally, sharing the happy moments our people have experienced in the organization in our in-house magazine would be great too.
