Dear Seniors,

Like many other IT companies, we are also considering cost-cutting measures to address the global recession. After scrutinizing all accounts, our management has decided on a salary slash for non-performers. Could anyone provide me with a sample letter for a salary reduction?

This is fraud. If an employee is a non-performer, he/she shall be terminated. Why salary reduction? The intention of the employer is to take advantage of the recession to lower the pay of employees and have them work in the same position. A clever move, but that amounts to unfair labor practice. Not advisable. Sigh.
