Hi,

I am working as a training manager in an organization, and there are many individuals who are not very proficient in communicating in English. If any of you can help me in finding a proper approach to encourage them to adopt English in their day-to-day conversations, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi all,

If you find it difficult to teach basic English to the employees, why don't you organize some spoken English classes for them? There are many training institutes that deal with such topics. Companies like M/s IL&FS, M/s Management Study Centre, and M/s English World in Hyderabad are very good institutes that offer the same service.

Right now, I don't have the spoken English material, but tomorrow from my office, I will forward it.

Hi All,

Most of the present companies are facing this problem, and as an HR professional, this is a major and key challenge. If you are based in Hyderabad, why not organize in-house training programs? We have M/s. IL&FS, M/s Management Study Center, and M/s English World. The first two institutes can also organize sessions if you are based outside Hyderabad. They are willing to travel anywhere in India to conduct programs. Regarding English World, it should be noted that the owner of this institute will set the IELTS paper. They are very good for basic English, voice accent, etc.

Hi All,

Most of the present companies are facing these problems. As an HR professional, this is a major and key challenge to ensure that employees have at least basic English skills. If you are based in Hyderabad, you can approach M/s English World at Clock Towers, Secunderabad. The owner of this institute will administer the IELTS exam. Their concept is excellent as they teach basic grammar, English, pronunciation, voice accent, and voice modulation. M/s. Management Study Center and M/s IL&FS also offer similar training sessions. They conduct in-house training programs throughout India at their own premises.

Hi,

The main reason that many people don't speak in English is because they feel that they are not good enough or lack confidence. Therefore, the most important thing to do would be to create an environment where people don't feel bad about communicating in English.

I would suggest conducting some sort of training or workshop for your employees. Additionally, you could allocate an hour or so each week for team presentations. This practice will help individuals gain enough confidence to communicate effectively in English.

For instance, if you have a sales team, you could request one or two members to deliver a presentation about the product or competitors. This approach will not only enhance their understanding of their work but also boost their confidence in speaking English.

Hi,

Several companies face this challenge, which could be attributed to the focus on domain/technical skills during the recruitment process. Often, the "other skills" are overlooked due to the pressure of achieving hiring targets. The solution lies, of course, in training, and through good quality training delivered through proven and established processes offered by well-established training organizations. We are one of the prominent training companies in the organized sector, belonging to the trusted Hero Group, and are pleased to associate with you in your endeavors. Please visit our website at www.heromindmine.com for details about our company and the training solutions offered by us. I would be delighted to meet with you to discuss further and look forward to your reply.

Best wishes,
