Hi all,
Can anybody tell me the procedure so that I can transfer my PF into my savings account? Previously, I was employed in a Gurgaon-based organization and now I'm working in a Delhi-based organization. I have my savings accounts in HDFC Delhi-based branch. Can anybody help me by telling me the easiest way to transfer my previous PF into my savings accounts?
Thanks in advance.

U need to get in touch with the company whose PF you wish to withdraw. There would be a defined point of contact in that company who handles PF and helps ex employees to withdraw their PF.

Dear Aziz,
PF cannot be transferred into a savings bank account. You need to fill up Form 19 B and 10 C, get it attested from your last employer, and deposit it at the PF office. Your PF withdrawal cheque will then be directly dispatched to your bank.
Thank you.

Hi,
As said by Mr. Malik, you need to fill Form 19B and 10C. Submit the same to your previous organization. Once the form is submitted to the PF office, it will take at least 45 days for the PF money to be transferred to your HDFC savings bank account.
Thanks,
Anju Sharma.

I was working with a company in Gurgaon for 1.5 years, and I resigned in July 2008. I joined a new company in Lucknow in Nov 2008. The HR in my new company said that she would not be able to get my PF transferred from my old PF account to the new one and advised me to withdraw it. I am unable to go to Gurgaon to my previous company and also unable to get in touch with my previous HR. Please advise.

I was working in a private company in W.B. I am submitting my resignation in the month of November 09 and am willing to join a new company in Gujarat in the first week of January 2010. I would like to know what the procedure is to transfer my P.F. from W.B. to Gujarat. As my P.F. is under EPF, W.B., is it mandatory to mention my new employer's name and address in the P.F. transfer form? How many minimum days does it take for the transfer? Also, please advise whether I should transfer my P.F. to a new account in Gujarat or close my current P.F. account and withdraw the entire amount. Kindly provide me with details on 'how to withdraw P.F. amount.'

Dear Azim,
You can submit your withdrawal form 19 & 10c after signature & stamp of the previous employer to the EPF department. One option available in both forms is your account details, which you filled out. The amount will be credited to your account after the approval of your form by the EPF department.
Thanks,
Neeraj
