If your Company is registered under PF(providant Fund) ACt then only you would get pension please check with your company normally a company having 20+employees is covered under this Act.

The employee should be only eligible to get a pension fund scheme if he likes, and he is eligible to receive it only after the completion of 10 years of service, even from different companies if the EPF is submitted properly, David :)

Hi, I do not understand "off-role employee". Do you mean to say that you were not on the company's payroll and were working on a contract? There are two cases:

1. Pension under EPF applies once you complete 10 years of service continuously.
2. The other form is after retirement, which normally pertains to public sector/government employees.

Hope this is clear.

Hi, as you are an off-roll employee and no contribution is paid towards the pension, you will not be eligible to receive a pension. One person is eligible to receive a pension after a minimum of 10 years of service and after reaching 48 years of age.

Thank you,
