Hi, I resigned from my previous company 1 year ago. They gave me a PF number and informed me that I could claim my PF after 6 months. Now, I am too far from my previous company. Can anyone tell me the whole procedure for getting PF?

Dear Ghanshyam,

You can either transfer your PF or withdraw the same.

For Transfer: Fill the transfer form from the new employer and submit it to HR. They will follow up for the PF transfer.

For withdrawal: Download forms from [EPFO](http://epfindia.nic.in/) and send them to the previous company's HR along with the affidavit stating that you would like to withdraw the same.

Let me know if you need any further help on this matter.
