I am working for a software company, which is a startup in Pune, India. I am seeking detailed information on the Holiday Policy, Leave Policy, Maternity Policy, Paternity Policy, and any other relevant policies.

Our entitlement is 20 working days of leave for the financial year, from April to March, which includes sick leave and casual leave. We need to establish comprehensive policies for our employees that encompass all necessary details. Kindly provide me with this information promptly in the form of a document.

Thank you very much for your prompt reply.

Actually, we get 20+10 holidays in a financial year. In which 20 working days are paid leaves and 10 days which include 3 national holidays and festive holidays. We don't have any breakup of leaves such as casual leaves or sick leaves or privileged leaves. So, can you please send me a comprehensive document on the Holiday Policy.

Also, I request you to send me a document on Performance Appraisal and Bonus. Can you tell me if a person who has joined after June will be eligible for Bonus and how to evaluate employees' performance? 😕

Normally, a company provides 9 festival holidays and 4 national holidays, totaling 13 holidays in a year. Typically, employees receive 5 sick leaves and 15 casual leaves.

Under the Maternity Benefits Act, a pregnant woman is entitled to 6 weeks of leave before delivery and 6 weeks after delivery. Considering other leaves taken, a woman can avail a maximum of 90 days of maternity leave with the gross salary (basic+HRA+PF), excluding incentives and bonuses.
