Hi, I'm working with a bank. We have meeting and board rooms as follows:
Board room - 1 no.
Training room - 1 no.
Meeting room - 2 nos for 10 persons each.
Meeting room - 2 nos for 7 persons each which can be combined into a large meeting room, i.e., for 14 persons.
Meeting room - 5 nos for 4 persons each.
We are deciding to name these. Please suggest some themes based on which I can name them.
Thank you.
Pearl.

Hi Pearl,
You can name them 'HR Discussion Rooms' or just 'Discussion Rooms'. If you have training rooms, name them Learning and Development Centre. Boardroom should be Boardroom only. If you need any more suggestions, do write in!!
By the way, where do you work and where are you located?? I am working in TCS Kolkata HR.

As the location is in Mumbai, the theme can feature some great names related to Mumbai. Trust me, it would be fun at work. For example, the Board room could be named as CENTRAL, Training as Bandra where we have fun, Meeting Room 1 in Andheri where we meet, and so on. It's fun! For instance, people would say, "Let's go to Bandra for training!" Haha.

Hi Pearl,
You can do a lot of innovation in this. Just to give you examples of how we have named our meeting rooms:
- Chennai office: the rooms are named after various rivers like Ganga, Kaveri, Brahmaputra, etc.
- Bangalore office 1: the rooms are named after historical personalities like Akbar, Chanakya, Aurangzeb, Harishchandra, Jehangir, Prithviraj, etc.
- Bangalore office 2: the rooms are named after ragas like Bhairavi, Dhanyasi, Lalitha, Thilang, Vansantha.
You people too can come up with something interesting, an unusual theme, could be colors, cartoons, battlefields, and whatnot.
Cheers,
Khushnum
