Hi all,

I am currently pursuing my postgraduate degree in HR through distance learning, and I am struggling to find job opportunities in the HR field. I feel that I am not gaining enough practical knowledge to enter the HR field because the distance learning course lacks exposure to the practical aspects of the market. Every paper I study is theoretical in nature, making everything seem dull and seemingly useless.

Could anyone advise me on how I can enhance my HR skills to improve my job prospects? Are there any additional courses I could take to further my development? Since I am not securing a job in HR at the moment, what other job opportunities should I explore? If I were to take up a different job now, would it be easy for me to transition into HR later?

I am a fresher from Delhi seeking guidance and assistance. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Dear Sir,

Thank you very much for your guidance. I am relieved to learn from a professor that the course I am pursuing through distance learning will not hinder my job prospects.

Following your advice, I will make an effort to read HR magazines and periodicals regularly.

Sir, at this point, can I consider taking up a job that is not related to HR? Are there HR live projects available in the market for students like me who are studying through distance learning?

Once again, thank you very much.

Regards,
sp
