I have recently joined the forum. I wish to know the salaries for the following positions in the software industry:

1. HR Executive (1 year experience in recruitment)
2. HR & Admin Executive (1 year experience in general administration)
3. Assistant Manager HR (3 years experience as a generalist)
4. Senior Account Executive (2 years experience in handling overall accounting)
5. Business Development Executive (both senior and junior - experience between 0-4 years)
6. Business Development Manager (5+ years experience)
7. Quality Executive (2 years experience)

All the employees in these positions are BE/postgraduates. I hope someone would be able to help me with this. If someone can provide me with a link that offers comparative salaries in this industry, it would be great. It's urgent too. :)

Dear Swati,

Following salaries will be applicable for the software industry:

1. HR Executive (1 year of experience in recruitment) - 1.5 to 2.0 lakh per annum
2. HR & Admin Executive (1 year of experience in general administration) - 2.0 to 2.2 lakh per annum
3. Assistant Manager HR (3 years of experience as a generalist) - 4.0 to 4.5 lakh per annum
4. Senior Account Executive (2 years of experience in handling overall accounting) - 5 to 7 lakh per annum
5. Business Development Executive (both senior and junior roles, experience between 0-4 years) - 6.0 to 7.0 lakh per annum
6. Business Development Manager (5+ years of experience) - 8.0 to 9.0 lakh per annum
7. Quality Executive (2 years of experience) - 3.0 to 4.0 lakh per annum

2. HR & Admin Executive (1 year of experience in general administration) - CTC would range between 1.5-1.7L p.a.
3. Assistant Manager HR (3 years of experience as a generalist) - Expected salary would be somewhere between 4-5 L p.a.
4. Senior Account Executive (2 years of experience in handling overall accounting) - Expected salary is 3.5-4L p.a.
5. Business Development Executive (both Senior and Junior - experience between 0-4 years) - For a fresher, 1.5-2L p.a. should be fine; for 2-3 years of experience, 2.5-4L p.a.; and for 3-4 years of experience, 5.0-5.5 L p.a. is ideal.
6. Business Development Manager (5+ years of experience) - Ideal salary range is 6-7L p.a.
7. Quality Executive (2 years of experience) - Expected salary is 2.5-3L p.a.

Hi Swati,

My company also has a headcount of around 120 employees, and it is a product development company. The figures I provided are more or less based on the Mercer salary survey, as we have subscribed to that. Hope you find them useful.
