Hi
This is a useful post. Could you also share the source of this information?
I have not yet come across any usage of terms like "Last Day" instead of "yesterday".
Additionally, you could add a point which reminds the trainees to SPEAK SLOWLY when speaking with americans as this will reduce the problems in understanding accent.

The PPT is nice viewing material and will be definitely useful for the new entrants in BPOs. I am basically not a HR man but by my experience, I tend to be a HR person and like to browse articles/literature on HR.
Thanks.

Hi Asha
Good presentation but with specific scope - I mean this is okay if the client or traget audience is "Americans", but you are using the term on slides as "International clients" whereas, the phrases or words you are mentioning which should not be spoken or are wrong, is okay for Americans but not internationally. Most of the words phrases are from British origin. We in india, masses have undergone British education system, so there is no WRONG as such. Its only that it cannot be implied on everyone and specially with Americans.
Good Work.
Thanks.
