Mediclaim and benefit?? why, his family is covered for hospitalisation and in case of any hospitalisation he gets reimbursed to the extend of coverage Siva

Dear Britto,
Mediclaim is used when the policyholder/dependents are hospitalized or undergoing treatment in a hospital. There are 2 ways:
1) If it is a planned treatment, then the information has to be given to the respective mediclaim provider so that the amount will be given.
2) In case of emergency treatment, admit the patient to any hospital. After the treatment is over, the claim can be made by submitting the original bills and other relevant documents.
