Hi friends,
Our company has proposed health insurance for our employees. In this regard, I have spoken to the concerned Insurance department and insured some of our employees in the Mediclaim Policy.
Now, I am supposed to inform the concerned employees about the Mediclaim policy and the procedures to be followed in using it.
I have attached the draft of the Memo herewith, which will be circulated by me to the concerned employees.
I request my friends to have a look at the draft and suggest any necessary improvements.
Please help me out. It should be sent today.
Thanks,
Sowmya

Dear Sowmya,
The draft, content-wise, is fine. I think that if you make the guidelines point-wise, then it will be easier for the employees to understand. The eligibility to use the healthcare can be made more explicit so that no doubts arise.

Hi Sowmya!
The draft looks good. Please consider the following:
1. Put "Subject:________________"
2. Consider mentioning 'We are pleased to inform you that.....' It will look nice.
3. Please check the validity of the policy. It is advisable to include the dates from and to. (Even though the dates will be mentioned in the supporting documents, you may repeat them.)
4. You can nominate an official who will help in processing or coordinate claims.
5. You may consider a session by the insurance company agent/office for clarification/guidelines to policyholders.
