Dear Kumar,
There might be 40+ employees who might gather for the program, so please suggest some games that can be played in the hall. Additionally, could you suggest some games that can be played between companies as we are a group company?
Thanks,
Asha :)

Asha,
You can have table tennis, chess, carrom, 4 corners, pool, Bingo :) I am sure four corners would be enjoyed by many... whoever's hosting the show can first start by saying that we need everyone together for a picture. Once the picture is taken, the host can separate everyone into four groups based on their birth months; for example, people born in Jan, Feb, Mar in one group, people born in Apr, May, Jun in the second group, and so on. Then, the host can proceed by asking one person from each group to say a word starting with 'C' (like Christmas or any other word they prefer) without pausing, one person from each of the four groups. After that, you can start the music and play four corners.
Hope you have fun... Wishing you in advance a Merry X'mas and a Happy New Year 2008 :)

Hi Asha,
You can play Secret Santa/Secret Angel, where a chit would be given to every employee. Each chit would have another employee's name, and that person becomes the concerned person's Santa/Angel. This should not be revealed to any employee. Every day until the eve of Christmas, the assigned person should drop in chits writing something or giving out some clues about themselves and send it to their Santa/Angel through any means. The Santa's/Angel's job is to find their pal. This is one of the famous games played for Christmas in many organizations.
For example: Jack picks the chit and gets John as his Santa/Angel. Jack would then drop in some chits to John and continue the process, creating a chain.
Other fun activities could include a Treasure Hunt, a singing competition where each team writes lyrics and composes their own song on a given topic like rain or the office, an ethnic or custom wear day for a fashion show, carol singing, a game where players make lists that others have to guess whose list it is, and Pictionary.
I hope these suggestions help you out.
Thanks & Regards,
Murali :) :)
