Transitioning to a micro-managing environment from a flexible work environment can be challenging. Here are some steps you could take:

1. Understand the Rules: Familiarize yourself with the new company's policies and regulations. This will help you know what is expected of you and the employees you are managing.

2. Communication: Open and honest communication is crucial. Speak with the management about your concerns and ask for their guidance.

3. Adaptation: You may find certain practices uncomfortable initially, but try to adapt to the new environment.

4. Employee Engagement: Ensure the employees are engaged and motivated. This can be done by recognizing their efforts and providing constructive feedback.

5. Training: If there are any training programs available, do participate. This will not only help you in adapting faster, but also in understanding the company's expectations better.

Remember, every company has a different work culture. It might take some time for you to adjust to the new environment. Stay positive, keep an open mind, and try to adapt to the new practices.
