I returned back to my office work after angioplasty. My office has put me in to shift duties though very well aware that I have undergone angioplasty. Is there any way I can refuse shift duties?

It is unfortunate to put you on shift duty on your return back after having an angioplasty.
You can't refuse the office order, doing so shall be treated misconduct.
In this condition you should request your office to keep you off from shift duty for time being to avoid negative impact on health.
In general, the treated doctor gave recommendations in report: things to avoid for 90 to 180 days on case to case basis i.e, night waking, heavy lifting, stair climbing, walk fast and a time table for food and drinks etc.
I think you don't have any such medical instructions from your treated doctor.
You meet your doctor get the recommendations.
You make a prayer after 2-3days of shift duty and take leave on health ground and get the surgeon's advice of the Govt Hospital.
Only way by which you can change shift duties but refusal is misconduct.
