Hello, I recently received an offer letter from a potential employer. In the offer letter, they specified a joining date and requested that I start working on that particular day. However, a mere two days before my intended start date, the HR department contacted me with the news that they could not proceed with the hiring process as I am not a graduate.

During the interview process, I had explicitly stated that I am an undergraduate. This information is also clearly stated in my resume, which I had previously shared with them. Now, the HR department claims that the company's policy does not permit hiring undergraduates.
